We are so excited celebrate the National Friends of the Library week!
To start the week off, let’s talk about the history of Can-Kan Friends of the Library.
Can-Kan Dreambuilders, now Can-Kan Friends of the Library, was founded in 2005 by three dedicated members of the community: Joan Gordon, Joyce McDaniel and Sharon Wiggins. Their hard work and determination turned the dream of a new library building into a reality when in May of 2015, ground was broke on the site of the new library.
