Join the CanKan Friends of the Library!
Looking for a meaningful way to support your local library? The CanKan Friends of the Library is a wonderful group of volunteers who make a real difference through fundraising, community events, and hands-on support.
We meet seasonally—March, April, and May in the spring, and September, October, and November in the fall—to plan and collaborate on projects that directly benefit the library and its patrons.
Our biggest annual fundraiser, the Little Miss & Mr. Christmas Contest, helps us cover essential costs like the library’s security system, grant assistance, books and popcorn that we hand out at Halloween, and other items the library simply can’t purchase on its own.
