Little Miss and Mr. Christmas Contest 2025
The Can-Kan Friends of the Library invite children ages 4-6 to help raise money for new seating at the Caney City Library by running for the title of Little Miss and Mr. Christmas of 2025.
Coronation will be the night of the Caney Christmas Parade Thursday, December 4th at 6:30 in front of the Montgomery County Chronicle office and there will be a float for the children to ride on. Children must be 4,5 or 6 years of age by Oct 1st, 2025 and reside in the USD 436 school district. Voting will be done by donating towards the library. The girl and boy who collects the most money for the library will be crowned Little Miss and Mr. Christmas of 2025. This is a great way for the community to support the library!
Applications were sent home with Pre-K students and are available at the library starting October 20th. Completed applications and photos can be dropped off at the library (if closed, they can be put in the book drop on the south side of the building), or emailed to caneylibrary@gmail.com. Applications must be turned into the library by Monday, November 10th.
The 1st and 2nd place winners will not be able to participate the following year. Each applicant’s parent/guardian will be contacted to review the information. Voting will start November 12th and will end December 2nd. All voting will be done at the library where you are welcome to check out our family play space.
A list of contestants will be posted in the library, in the local paper and on the Caney City Library Facebook page. The Can-Kan Friends of the Library welcomes your participation as a contestant and voter. Please come out to support your community and have fun doing it!
